RELIABILITY

HYDROFORMING

Means manupulating the shapes and thicknesses of the aluminum tubes to achieve greater strength and resistance while avoiding unwanted deformation. Many of the tubes are swaged in the middle, away from the stresses of welds and joints, to achieve weight reduction. Aluminium technology is as advanced as carbon manufacturing, which is why Orbea aluminium bikes are always among the best performing.

WELDED CHAINSTAY YOKE

To achieve maximum tire stand and strength, a proprietary welded chainstay yoke with CNC finishing was developed to ensure the most precise specifications. This is not a new technology, but a more costly one.
