The Genius Trail geometry provides the perfect balance. Compared to previous developments, the bike is flatter, has a longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. The geometry balances the relatively long front end and improves smoothness.

The Boost standard improves the stiffness of the wheels and provides greater tire clearance. The increased clearance in the chainstay area allows for a significantly larger chainstay cross-section. This improves the stiffness of the frame and keeps the chainstays short.

The Virtual 4-Link design combines balance and control. Cadence and braking are improved, ensuring the suspension system can operate at maximum efficiency. The kinematic suspension curve compensates for small bumps to provide excellent traction, plus perfect mid-travel support and controlled low travel for predictable compression and more comfort.

Thanks to the TwinLoc suspension system, the rider can effectively control the frame, fork and shock as a complete system. The added control makes for extra fun riding, especially on descents. TwinLoc allows for nuanced fine-tuning of the suspension. Furthermore, not only can the compression damping be changed, but also the spring characteristics to dynamically change the geometry of the bike.

Furthermore, the 29 inch wheels improve the rolling behavior. The large wheels make it easier to ride on difficult surfaces such as roots or stones. Another important aspect is the higher traction compared to 26″ wheels due to the larger tire contact area.

If necessary, this model can be converted from 29″ to 27.5″ wheels. You don’t need to change the fork, all you need to do is make a small adjustment to the shock, change your wheels and off you go. The shock adjustment ensures a similar bottom bracket height when changing wheels, so the handling remains almost identical for both wheel sizes.
